BoSoma Dance Company can be hired to perform or teach at a variety of events including corporate dinners, gala events, elementary through high school arts education programming, festivals, university master classes and more! The company has developed a variety of high quality programming designed to accommodate your needs.
Workshops Topics: Stories in Motion This topic will focus on how dance can tell a story. It will teach children how to create and interpret stories through movement. The workshop will relate the student’s composition and story telling/writing tools learned in their English class to creating choreography. Students will learn what some of the movements in our choreography mean and will come up with their own meaningful movements. Math and Science Matters This topic focuses on basic physics and numbers. This workshop is designed to introduce children to how choreographers use numbers and music mathematically to create choreography and movement patterns. Science topics will also integrate and teach the importance of knowing the human anatomy and gravity, which allows dancers to be able to move through space. Elementary Age: K – 6th Grade

These ‘games’ or ‘tasks’ are designed to inspire strong leader and follower qualities, to build confidence in oneself, to o pen doors and avenues for movement creativity and to increase physical activity, musicality and coordination levels.
