Kelsey Blanchette is a dancer, teacher and choreographer from Southern New Hampshire. She received her early training from Dance Progressions of Derry, NH and later graduated Cum Laude from Salem State University with a B.A. in Dance & Public Relations. During her time at Salem State she had the opportunity to study under Caitlin Corbett, Meghan McLyman, Betsy Miller & James Morrow. She was an active choreographer, dancer, and officer for Salem Dance Ensemble and Repertory Dance Theatre. In 2017 she was awarded the Creativity Award for Dance, the highest honor in the arts at Salem State University, as well as inducted into the National Honor Society of Dance of the NDEO. She has performed in events such as Salem Arts Festival, Saving Grace Dance Ensemble, Across the Ages Dance Project, NACHMO Boston and more. Kelsey is currently the Community Outreach Director of BoSoma School of Dance, co-director of Vitality Dance Project, and an instructor at Enchanted Dance Academy. 

Phoebe Burden is a recent graduate from The Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College, SUNY in New York. Her time spent in the conservatory prepared her to be skilled in many techniques of dance. She studied classical ballet, partnering, and various modern techniques such as Graham, Cunningham and Limón. In addition she also found a passion in different contemporary forms like contact improvisation, modern partnering and floor work. Phoebe has studied with several dance artists and choreographers who have aided her artistic development and allowed her to become such a versatile dancer. She had the pleasure of working with contemporary dance artists like Andrea Miller, Annie Rigney, and Peter Chu while attending Purchase College. She graduated with a BFA in dance performance in May of 2022, and is eager to keep growing and learning as an artist, teacher and individual.

Courtney has been dancing since the age of 3, she received the bulk of her training from local New England studios and summer programs such as Boston Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and the Boston Conservatory. During this time she received many awards and recognitions at both regional and national dance competitions and conventions. In May of 2017, she graduated from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During her time with the Hartt School, she had the opportunity to study under renowned professors/ choreographers such as Stephen Pier, Debra Collins Ryder, Hilda Morales, Ralph Perkins, Miki Orihara, Katie Stevinson Nollet, Betsy McMillan and Nina Watt. She also had the opportunity to perform in classical pieces by Balanchine, Limon, Martha Graham, Laban technique and other Contemporary works. Courtney has been dancing with the BoSoma Dance Company since 2017. During her time, she has had the opportunity to perform in many dance festivals, within art exhibits at the Peabody Essex Museum and perform at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Courtney is now the Assistant Director of BoSoma School of Dance where she shares her passion and love for dance with her students of all ages.

Margaret Falcone is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Syracuse, NY where she trained at The Ballet & Dance Center. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2019 with a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance and emphases in modern dance and creating performance. At the Conservatory, she performed works by Otis Sallid, Roderick George, Joe Chvala, Merce Cunningham, and Stephanie Martinez, among others. She also had the opportunity to produce three of her original works on Boston Conservatory’s mainstage. Now, she is currently Assistant to the Dean of Dance at Boston Conservatory and is the program director of two divisional outreach programs: Movement Matters, which brings dance to senior citizens in the Boston area, as well as Step by Step, an adaptive dance program for students who have Autism and Down Syndrome. Margaret previously danced with DrumatiX, is currently a freelance dancer with artists in the Boston area such as Jenny Oliver and her Modern Connections Collective, and has been a member of BoSoma Dance Company since 2019. Dance has always been a major influence in Margaret’s life and she is excited to continue her explorations at BDC.

Janelle Holmes earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from University of Hartford in May of 2020, with a focus in ballet pedagogy. While attending The Hartt School, she performed in many main stage shows, and danced as a guest artist with Ballet Hartford. Janelle has also held various internships focused on teaching dance in the Hartford area. Additionally, Janelle is involved with artistic outreach programs such as Spectrum in Motion and The Prism Project, practicing movement and music therapy with students with exceptionalities. Currently, Janelle is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Hartford while working as a freelance dancer in Southern New England. She is excited to apply her knowledge and to build on her professional skills at BDC.

Cassie’s dance training began at various studios in southern New Hampshire, including New Hampshire School of Ballet where she remained until graduating high school in 2015. While there, Cassie trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap and lyrical dance. She also had the opportunity to train at The Nutmeg Conservatory in Connecticut during this time. In 2019, Cassie graduated cum laude from The Hartt School at University of Hartford with a BFA in Dance Performance. Cassie’s time at Hartt allowed her to study ballet, contemporary, composition, and classical modern techniques as well as perform works by Martha Graham, José Limón, Paul Taylor, George Balanchine, Michelle Thompson-Ulerich, Claudia Schrier, Katie Stevinson-Nollet, and Stephen Pier. In addition to her studies at Hartt, Cassie had opportunities to travel to San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Henny Jurriëns Studio in Amsterdam for summer programs, where she focused on Gaga and improvisation. After graduating, Cassie remained in Hartford, CT and performed with The Hartford Dance Collective under the direction of Jillian Foley. In addition to joining BoSoma, Cassie is currently working towards a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy at Lesley University. 

Dana Mazurowski began her dance  training at the New Hampshire School of Ballet where she remained enrolled for ten years. There, she trained in numerous styles, including ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, tumbling, and danced competitively around the country. In May of 2016 Dana graduated from the Hartt School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Pedagogy. While attending the Hartt School she expanded her training in other genres including Limón, Graham, character, and contemporary dance forms. She had the good fortune to train with renowned teachers and choreographers including, Stephen Pier, Nina Watt, Hilda Morales, Jackie Nowicki, Miki Orihara, Betsy McMillan, Katie Stevinson-Nollet, and many more. She had the opportunity to study abroad for a period in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the Henny Jurriens Foundation during her time at the Hartt School. In June of 2016 Dana was nominated by the American College Dance Association to perform at their national showcase at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. After moving to New York City in 2016 she began working as a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer.  She participated in many showcases and projects including Queensboro Dance Festival, solo work for Nancy Meehan company member Frances Rosario-Puelo, guest performer for Vivid Ballet at Alvin Ailey,  Shifting Tides performance at The Mark O'Donnell Theater at The Actors Fund Arts Center, and many more.  Dana also performed as a company member with One Day Dance for three seasons. Presently, she performs with NSquared Dance Company and BoSoma Dance Company. She also works as the Curriculum Director at BoSoma School of Dance.  

Marlee hails from Syracuse, NY where she received her early training at Tawn Marie's Dance Center in Liverpool. She went on to study at the University at Buffalo, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance and Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, graduating summa cum laude in 2013. While at UB, she trained under the direction of Thomas Ralabate and was a member of Zodiaque Dance Company, performing in works by Gina Pero, Teal Darkenwald, Nailah Bellinger, Leanne Rinelli, Melanie Aceto and Anne Burnidge. As a senior, Marlee's choreography was selected to represent the UB Dance Department at the American College Dance Festival held at UMass Amherst. Since graduating, Marlee has performed professionally in both New York City and Boston with Rich Dance Project, At the Brink Dance Projects, Roza Dance Company and BCDP Global, and continually teaches and choreographs throughout Central New York. 

Kristin grew up dancing in Burlington MA, at Suzanne’s Dance Connection. She has a BFA in dance and has studied at California Institute of the Arts, Boston Conservatory, and Zurich University of the Arts. For the past 6 years in Los Angeles, Kristin has managed a mobile dance company and studio, serving over 450 students and 12+ locations. She returned to the East Coast March of 2023 to be closer to family and her new nephew. Kristin also choreographs dance content for Tippi Toes Inc.’s corporate office, for 35 franchises world-wide. When she is not dancing, she loves to spend time with her husband Jacob, pup Hazel, and family. She is deeply grateful for all of her teachers & choreographers who have inspired her: Spenser Theberge, Nadav Zelner, Arianna Hyatt, Charlie Hodges, Julie Bour, Leanne Reardon, Kaleigh Natale, Channing Cooke, and many more. Kristin is humbled to perform in BoSoma Dance Company and teach at BoSoma Dance School.

Anja Voges is an Asian American dancer of Filipino-German descent from Connecticut. Her early training began at the Lee Lund Studio of Dance and the ACES Educational Center for the Arts. In 2023, Anja graduated cum laude from American University in Washington, DC. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and International Studies with concentrations in human rights and Asian diaspora studies. Throughout her dance career, Anja performed works by artists including Erin Foreman-Murray, Gabriel Mata, Tara McCrystal, Chitra Subramanian, and Kevan Sullivan. Over the years, she debuted six original choreographies and worked in various arts administration roles. In addition to joining BoSoma Dance Company, Anja is also a movement artist with Infinity Dance Collective, a Boston-based improvisation company, and the Lee Lund Studio of Dance Alumni Company.

Shannon Wilkinson followed her 2 older sisters’ footsteps and it lead her to a ballet class at the age of 3. She got her training in Upstate New York at Tawn Marie’s Dance Centre learning jazz, contemporary, ballet, and tap. She received many awards at both national and regional dance competitions. At a pretty young age, she knew that dance was more than just an after school activity to do, she knew she wanted to keep learning and keep dancing. When looking for her next steps, in her Junior year of high school, 17 year-old Shannon typed “Good Dance Schools” into the Google search bar and clicked on one of the first ones to pop up. After a weekend trip to Franklin, MA she fell in love with Dean College and after 4 years, she received her BA in Dance with a concentration in teaching and a Psychology Minor. Post-graduation, she went on to dance for the Boston Celtics for three seasons. During her time with the Celtics Entertainment Team she performed with DJ Kool, Montell Jordan, Nelly and she got to open up for Girls Gotta Eat Podcast. Living in Boston, Shannon embraced the opportunity to dance in iconic places like Fenway Park with New Kids on the Block as well as Gillette Stadium for the Patriots home-openers. She is looking forward to that “back at home” feeling of performing on stage and being a member of BoSoma Dance Company.
