Dominic Resendes is a recent graduate of Wilmington Dance Academy and Acellus Academy, where he graduated with High Honors. Throughout his training, he had the opportunity to perform in numerous productions of The Nutcracker, including Tony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker and Wilmington Dance Academy’s Suite Dreams in the Land of the Sweets, where he performed featured roles such as the Arabian Pas de Deux and the Nutcracker. He has also attended and competed at regional and national competitions, receiving scholarships, special awards, and a first-place overall with improvisation at Nationals. Alongside performing, Dominic has explored choreography, costume design, and music editing, creating award-winning solos and group works for both himself and fellow dancers. He is passionate about storytelling through movement and is grateful for the opportunity to continue growing as both a performer and creator with BoSoma Dance Company.
